Esta linha de pesquisa investiga o papel dos direitos humanos na construção de modelos de desenvolvimento inclusivos, sustentáveis e justos. Envolve o estudo das relações entre garantias fundamentais, democracia, cidadania, justiça social e políticas públicas. Analisa criticamente a efetividade dos instrumentos jurídicos nacionais e internacionais de proteção dos direitos humanos frente às desigualdades estruturais e aos desafios do desenvolvimento. Inclui temas como acesso à justiça, direitos sociais, educação, saúde, trabalho, moradia, igualdade de gênero, relações étnico-raciais, migrações, povos tradicionais, entre outros.

Foca na análise das interações entre o direito, a atividade econômica e as políticas fiscais como instrumentos de desenvolvimento. Investiga os marcos regulatórios do ambiente de negócios, da governança corporativa, do sistema financeiro, da concorrência e da tributação. Busca compreender como o Direito pode induzir comportamentos econômicos socialmente responsáveis, promover segurança jurídica, estimular a inovação e garantir justiça fiscal. Os objetos de estudo incluem: regimes societários, contratos empresariais, direito concorrencial, direito financeiro e orçamentário, sistemas tributários, responsabilidade social empresarial, desenvolvimento sustentável e economia digital.
