The ENBER International External Academic Review System (IEARS) is ENBER’s permanent institutional system for assuring, promoting, and continuously improving academic quality, designed to strengthen the excellence of its graduate programs, scientific research, innovation, internationalization, and academic governance.
Through IEARS, ENBER selects and invites researchers, graduate program coordinators, research group leaders, and distinguished academic specialists, affiliated with ENBER as well as other universities, certified research groups, research centers, scientific academies, academic societies, and national and international higher education institutions, to conduct independent, technical, and evidence-based external academic evaluations.
The evaluations encompass graduate programs, research groups and research lines, research centers, academic projects, scientific output, supervision, qualification and thesis defense processes, institutional policies, and other initiatives related to teaching, research, innovation, and internationalization.
At the conclusion of each review cycle, the reviewers prepare independent technical reports containing analyses, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement. These reports support ENBER’s strategic planning, strengthen its institutional culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement, and contribute to the recognition of the academic excellence of its programs at both national and international levels.
The ENBER International External Academic Review System (IEARS) maintains a permanent registry of specialists to serve as External Academic Reviewers. Researchers, faculty members, graduate program coordinators, research group leaders, and other distinguished academic professionals are invited to submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV) for consideration.
Selected professionals may be invited to participate in external reviews of ENBER’s graduate programs, research groups, and other academic initiatives, contributing to the advancement of academic quality, scientific research, innovation, and internationalization.
