Student Responsibilities

Christian and Academic Code of Conduct

At Ivy Enber Christian University, each student is expected to uphold a high standard of personal, ethical, moral, and spiritual conduct. Student behavior should reflect the Christian values that ground our institutional mission, demonstrating respect, humility, character, and responsibility.

Conduct that violates our principles of integrity, mutual respect, and human dignity may result in disciplinary actions, including warning, academic probation, or dismissal, if such behavior undermines the institutional environment, affects the well-being of others, or poses a threat to the safety or harmony of the academic community.

Students are expected to:

  • arrive prepared for classes with the required materials;

  • comply with established schedules and deadlines;

  • take responsibility for missed content in the event of absence;

  • maintain a respectful posture toward faculty, peers, and administrative staff.

In cases of absence due to health reasons, medical documentation may be required.

Enber University promotes an environment of respect and dignity. Discrimination, intimidation, verbal, physical, or psychological violence, or any form of disrespect or harassment is not tolerated.

Destruction of or damage to institutional property will result in disciplinary measures and/or legal liability. Unauthorized commercial activities within the university are prohibited.

Academic Integrity

Ivy Enber Christian University values and requires intellectual honesty and authentic academic production. Students must submit academic work that represents their original ideas, grounded in research and personal reflection.

When using external materials or contributions, such sources must be properly cited, including:

  • physical or digital books and academic journals;

  • academic content available online;

  • oral, visual, or documentary communications from third parties.

Plagiarism, cheating, or the unattributed appropriation of others’ ideas or content constitutes a serious violation of academic integrity and may result in failure or institutional dismissal.

Harassment and Respect Policy

Ivy Enber Christian University rejects any form of discrimination or harassment, including—but not limited to—race, creed, national origin, age, sex, religious belief, physical condition, psychological condition, or personal identity.

Every member of the Enber community has the right to:

  • be treated with respect;

  • learn in a safe and welcoming environment;

  • express themselves freely and responsibly;

  • be free from harassment, persecution, aggression, or retaliation.

Sexual, verbal, physical, or moral harassment is expressly prohibited and subject to disciplinary penalties.

Anti-Hazing / Anti-Humiliation Policy

In accordance with the institution’s Christian values and guidelines respecting human dignity, Ivy Enber Christian University deems unacceptable any form of hazing, humiliating practices, abusive provocation, or psychological coercion involving members of the student community.

Any act that humiliates, offends, or morally harms a student is contrary to our educational and spiritual mission.

Financial Responsibility

Students are required to honor their financial obligations to the institution within the established deadlines. Failure to do so may result in academic and administrative restrictions.
