RELIGIOUS TOURISM IN JOÃO PESSOA

Abstract

Religion and religiosity are human productions and are in the field of culture. This being an integral part of man's life, considered a cultural phenomenon, occurring in the time and space experienced by each human being. In Brazil, this topic of religion is showing increasingly intense interest among those who research it, and who recognize the importance of the sacred in people's lives. These different types of analysis encompass the diversity of religious phenomena and the countless assumptions to explain the expansion and/or retraction of different religions.
