Abstract

The present study analyzed the impact of leaders' emotional intelligence on organizational climate and workplace well-being, considering the growing importance of socio-emotional competencies in contemporary management. The objective was to understand how leaders' emotional intelligence influences perceptions of the organizational environment and indicators of occupational well-being.This is a qualitative bibliographic study based on a structured review of national and international scientific literature. The search was conducted in the Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, and Google Scholar databases, considering studies published between 1990 and 2024. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 62 articles were selected for analysis. The results indicate an association between high levels of leaders' emotional intelligence and positive organizational climate indicators, such as interpersonal trust, cooperation, effective communication, and psychological safety. It is concluded that leaders' emotional intelligence significantly influences the development of healthier organizational environments, promoting cooperation, interpersonal trust, employee engagement, and well-being. The findings suggest that the development of emotional competencies should be incorporated into leadership training and development strategies, constituting a competitive advantage for organizational sustainability and the promotion of occupational health.
