Contemporary organizational transformations have significantly intensified the emotional demands imposed on leadership, especially due to the increase in anxiety, occupational stress, burnout syndrome, and psychological illness related to work. In this context, emotional leadership emerges as a strategic competence for promoting healthier, more humanized, and productive organizational environments. This study aimed to analyze the relevance of emotional leadership in contemporary organizations by relating Christian principles to Augusto Cury’s theoretical contributions regarding emotional intelligence and emotion management. The research is characterized as qualitative, bibliographic, descriptive, and integrative, based on books, national and international scientific articles, systematic reviews, and academic studies related to emotional intelligence, servant leadership, organizational behavior, and emotional health in the workplace. The results showed that emotionally intelligent leaders have a greater capacity to develop psychologically safe environments, reduce interpersonal conflicts, stimulate collective engagement, and strengthen healthy organizational relationships. It was also observed that Christian principles such as humility, empathy, service, compassion, and wisdom significantly contribute to the humanization of organizational practices. Augusto Cury’s theories demonstrated strong convergence with the foundations of emotional leadership by emphasizing self-control, emotion management, mental health protection, and human appreciation above purely productivity-oriented metrics. It was concluded that the integration between emotional intelligence and Christian principles represents an important strategy for developing more ethical, balanced, and emotionally healthy leadership, simultaneously favoring organizational performance and occupational well-being.
