Launched in 2021, the Ivy Enber Scientific Journal (IESJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific periodical affiliated with Ivy Enber Christian University, aimed at promoting and disseminating academic production in the fields of Humanities, Health Sciences, and Applied Social Sciences. The journal welcomes contributions from both Brazilian and international authors, prioritizing studies that critically engage with these thematic areas, in line with the principles of interdisciplinarity, scientific innovation, and social commitment.
With ISSN 2833-227X, the Ivy Enber Scientific Journal invites researchers, academics, and professionals to submit original and unpublished articles for its regular issues. This call aims to present the editorial guidelines, evaluation criteria, and thematic areas of interest, as well as the procedures required for manuscript submission.
In the field of Humanities, IESJ encourages the publication of studies in Philosophy, History, Geography, Anthropology, Psychology, Education, Arts, Theology, Linguistics, and Literature that contribute to the critical analysis of the human condition, cultures, subjectivities, and forms of sociability.
In the area of Health Sciences, the journal is open to works addressing topics related to public health, collective health, epidemiology, health policies, integrative practices, bioethics, health promotion, mental health, preventive medicine, nursing, nutrition, physiotherapy, among other approaches that engage with well-being and quality of life in different contexts and populations.
In Applied Social Sciences, IESJ prioritizes contributions in the fields of Social Work, Law, Administration, Economics, Accounting, Communication, Public Management, Social Policies, and Urban Planning, with special attention to analyses focused on addressing social inequalities, promoting human rights, sustainable development, and innovation in social and institutional practices.
The journal accepts manuscripts written in Portuguese, English, or Spanish. Regardless of the main language of the article, it is mandatory to include the title, abstract, and keywords in all three languages, in order to enhance the visibility and international reach of the published scientific production.
