Abstract

This scientific article discusses the main barriers imposed on Education in the
current context, regarding the insertion of technology in educational environments, with a
focused on public policies, in addition, it also highlights the profile of 21st century students
against this scenario. It stands out over the profile, what was named by Prensky as 'native
digital’, which is characterized by interactive processes and, for that reason, constitutes a new
cyberculture. What causes the emergence of a renewed demand in this context
education, since thinking about innovative pedagogical practices in the face of new technologies is
fundamental importance. In addition, the use of ICTs in the classroom has become increasingly
